Kids Flip for Tumblebus
B.A. Tumbler’s Tumblebus is a custom-designed gym on wheels. We take our year-round, gymnastics-based program to preschools and daycare centers throughout the Raleigh-Durham area, giving kids the chance to play while keeping physically fit. It’s gym class meets recess – on wheels!
The Tumblebus is equipped with
- balance beams
- bars
- still rings
- monkey bars
- trampolines
- foam pits
- tunnels
- mats
- carpeted and padded walls and floor
- music system
- heating system/air conditioning
And that’s just the beginning!
Seriously Fun!
While we have all kinds of fun on the Tumblebus, we are serious about physical education. We offer an introduction to the fundamentals of many sports including golf, soccer, baseball, basketball and more. We also cover health education topics such as proper nutrition, personal health and safety. Still, the kids have so much fun they don’t realize how much they’re learning. Pretty sneaky, huh?
The Tumblebus’ visit is already a much-anticipated weekly event for many kids. Show us a school that’s on our route, and we’ll show you kids who leap out of bed on Tumblebus day! Currently, we visit more than 50 preschools and daycare centers a week, reaching 1,200 kids. And the demand keeps growing.
Regardless of the weather, the Tumblebus is ready to come to your school once a week, always offering exciting, different 30-minute gymnastics, health and physical fitness programs for the kids that are as fun as they are educational. We can also set up the contents of Tumblebus inside your preschool or daycare center for in-house sessions.
SERIOUS ABOUT SAFETY
Tumblebus instructors are CPR and First Aid certified and have MELPD certification from the U.S. Gymnastics Association. Do you want to see your child have some fun? The Tumblebus has an open-door policy for any parent who wants to observe a Tumblebus session.
It All Leads Up to This…
Throughout the school year, we have fun, we learn and we work toward a goal. From September through May, we work toward bringing our “A” game to our annual spring recital.
Participation is optional, but most of the kids are so excited to take part that it has grown into a two-day event, held at the state fairgrounds, spotlighting the achievements of 1,200 young students.
Everybody who participates gets a T-shirt and a certificate, medal, ribbon or trophy (depending on the age group). Everybody who participates has the time of their life. It’s also the perfect opportunity to show off for mom and dad. |
